Go Lionheads!
I just want to wish Theresa lots of luck this next week as she presents her lionheads to the ARBA at the National ARBA Convention for her first presentation!
Theresa (Pridelands Rabbitry) has wonderful lionheads and I have no doubt that if anyone can get them passed it will be Theresa. If she doesn't next week she will continue to work hard to continue and improve the breed and prepare for next year.
This breed has been very challenging but due to persistant, patient and hard working lionhead breeders the breed is improving more and more every year. I have no doubt that someday it will become a recognized breed and overflow in popularity even more than it is as a non-recognized breed.
Thank You to all the lionhead breeders for getting the breed where it is today and continuing to improve it and Thank You Theresa for all of you hard work and for giving it another try next week.

RRH's Welcomes Flemish Giants to the Rabbitry!
This is my #1 favorite breed! One of my earliest rabbits when I was my kids' ages was a fawn Flemish Giant and I have been in love with the breed since. I have showed them in 4-H, used them in showmanship, used to show all over Ohio- and now after several years of not having any as I had to shrink my breed due to space, I am back into raising Flemish again!
Talk about an adventure! I found these two Fawn Flemish giants and they fit into my checkbook perfectly! So my daughters and I head up to get them after I get home from work, thinking I was getting a pair. Well I get there and the younger one was LOOSE! I looked at the sister, no too impressed with that one, but when I see the one I was suppose to get standing in the woods he is gorgeous! He still is but we find out he was actually a she! So guess what I will be looking for this fall!
