More bunnies born this morning...
We are on a roll- one more doe we are waiting on. Sure do love spring! This year the does will have to go year round though so I can get bunnies again in the fall- no long summer breaks like last year :) Loving the baby bunnies!
BTW- anyone looking for a pet or show bunny in eight weeks, look me up!

Enjoying my rabbits again...
I have had such a long streak of no babies and such horrible weather, that the bunnies were just not as fun as they used to be. I am starting to really hate Ohio weather! Am I getting old or is if just that I enjoy rabbit raising so much and the best time to raise bunnies and just enjoy being in the barn is when it is warm outside? I sure had a nice evening tonight that reminded me why I raise rabbits. Nothing beats a nice warm evening when you can take your time with chores and find yourself in a big chair taking turns holding different rabbits. And the best moment is sitting in that chair with a Flemish Giant on your lap!
And how exciting is it when you get to bring home new ones? Just this week I added two more New Zealand white does and a pair or San Juan bunnies. Yes, San Juans and no I have no idea! Have heard the name before but knew nothing about them, but they were neat looking and the price was right so said what the heck! Can't wait to learn more!
And the BEST part of rabbit raising! We finally have live and healthy BABIES- several boxes full, many on the way and in a beautiful display of colors! It sure is fun seeing what new colors we have as they mature.
I used a chestnut and broken chocolate chestnut this round and boy do I have some pretty colors. I even found a chinchilla! The broken chestnut and broken otter are cuties too! Can't wait till they get older! So far I have black, black otter, chocolate, chocolate otter, blue otter, chestnut, chocolate chestnut, chinchilla, broken chestnut, broken otter, sable marten and a pointed white marten. Can't wait to get pics and post them!
Found two new litters tonight and more on the way! Sure makes up for that long streak of no bunnies! I am so lovin' my rabbits! 31 years and still enjoying it!!!!

Bunnies
How are the other breeders doing with bunnies this year? Here at RRH we gave the bunnies a break over the summer- dumb move! But I think MAYBE we may finally be getting some little ones. We have the first round this week, and of course the weather is suppose to be yucky the second half of the week compared to the beginning of the week here in Ohio, so we shall see. I am all prepared to bring bunnies into the house if we get lucky enough to get them so cross your fingers.
Once the does start going again and we start keeping bunnies, we will be listing breeding stock for sale, so keep checking back as we will list anyone we plan to sell here on the blog.
In the meantime, let's hear who has some cute little bunnies and if you sign up to follow my blog you can also show off your bunnies by sending me photos and I will upload them. Happy Hopping!
